Summary
You can't hide from the future, but Bruno will sure as hell try.
Bruno is kidnapped for ransom and has to do unfathomable things to get free. He comes home a broken man, not just because of what he's been though but because of what he sees still ahead. When he learns that Mirabel will get a gift even more of a burden than his own, he conspires with Alma to protect his niece and the family, but the future only grows darker. To cap off his woes, he's afraid he's falling in love with his own nephew. Can Camilo help him to fix what's broken? Can they heal their family and save the miracle in time to protect their village or is the Encanto destined to fall into rubble and become a town of mere ghosts and memories?
Plot+Smut fic, with main ship of Camilo/Bruno. All the main Encanto characters and some OCs included and I think it gets better as it goes! I suck at summaries. Ages changed: Julieta is the oldest, then Pepa and then Bruno is the youngest & closer in age to his nieces and nephews. Julieta and Pepa are adopted (unknown to Bruno and the town).
