Hill sighed in fond exasperation. "North, there are two important reasons why we look after you whenever Joe's away."
All four of them turned towards him, faces curious. Hill chuckled before answering, "Well the first being that you are our Nong and we all adore you."
"Absolutely, short stuff," Arthit remarked, tousling North's hair and enjoying his annoyed glare in return.
"What's the second?" Easter asked, lest North and P'Thit started ribbing each other and derailed the entire conversation.
It was Tonfah who answered, "If something does happen to North, I am afraid Joe will raze the entire city to the ground..."
All of them, including North, shuddered just imagining that scenario.
Where North is a trouble magnet and Johan is a green flag, but is quite unhinged in his devotion to North!

How his mouth was parted, his face momentarily wincing at the mercy of a fake intrusion.
It's this image, engraved on his mind, that makes him ask it — as a thought that comes way too loud: ‘’Where did you learn that, Nong Nat?’’
He tries to convince himself that the only reason why he cares is because… Well, because he cares about him. Because Nat was a virgin when they first met and he would like to have known when that changed; Because he is overprotective of him; Because he is his nong — because something very similar to rage seeps through him at the very thought of other man touching his Nanat.
