Summary
Love is such a wonderful emotion, it comes in all shapes and sizes, and everyone experiences it differently. Sometimes it creeps up on you when you least expect it and sometimes you know the moment you look into each other’s eyes. But when you know, you know, and it’s both the giddiest and most nerve wracking feeling you can ever experience.

Summary
It’s difficult when two friends lack proper boundaries and are uncomfortable voicing their problems and concerns. This is why trust and communication are key in any relationship. Without trust, there is no communication, without communication, there is no trust to strengthen your relationship. Friendship can’t flourish without a strong foundation to build upon.
However, not all friendships are made to last.
Those are the relationships you learn from, the ones that help you grow as a person and learn from your mistakes.

Summary
This poem is dedicated to my Mother as a result of her recent struggles. She recently broke her leg, more specifically her tibia and the lower half of her knee cap, and had to undergo surgery to fix it. She currently has 15 pins and I don’t know how many screws and plates holding her leg together. She can’t put any weight on it or let it touch the floor for ten weeks, and after that it’ll be a year or more of healing and physiotherapy to get her walking normally again. It’s been very difficult for her lately, especially since she can’t do anything by herself without assistance from myself or other family members, and for an independent woman that’s constantly on the move, that’s torture. But thankfully she has her friends and family to support her.

Summary
I’ve found that theres always been this societal pressure to have kids, as if it’s some unwritten law or rule that everyone just automatically obeys. But the moment someone says they don’t want kids, it’s like people just can’t seem to wrap their heads around it, some will even interrogate you as to why and or frown upon your decision. But it’s OKAY to not want kids, it’s okay to be voluntarily childless. Doesn’t mean you hate or dislike children either, you don’t need to have kids to have a happy and fulfilling life.

Summary
Everyone’s story has a beginning, it may not be as kind or as harsh as your peers, but it’s yours nonetheless. Your inner child knows/remembers your beginnings better than anyone else, perhaps even better than your current self. If you could go back in time, what would you say to little you? What would YOU do?
