“Vi…” Caitlyn begins softly, she takes a shallow breath.
“Yes?” Vi replies, dreading what her counterpart would say next.
How can we go back to being friends?
Caitlyn sighs deeply and turns to face her. She swallows and asks shyly, “we’re still friends…right?”
When we just shared a bed
Vi is shocked at the question.
That’s what she’s worried about?
Not the beautiful night they had?
Vi looks at Caitlyn’s reflection in the window. Her brows were furrowed as she held herself in a little hug, searching for any sort of comfort possible.
“What? Of course we’re still friends-“
“just friends.”

Vi’s heart sank.
