Summary
Dean didn't think Sam would take it seriously when he had said they should pick a hemisphere and stay away from each other. After nine months of searching he has finally found his brother, but he was just a shell of the man he once was, separating himself from the rest of the world in a self-made prison of solitude. Dean has no idea how to put him back together again.
Sam knew he was a disease that destroyed everything around him. He has spent a long time trying to convince himself otherwise, but now after the starting apocalypse and Dean kicking him out of his life, he has finally accepted who he was. He gets as far away from humanity as he possibly can with plans to live out the rest of his unworthy existence in isolation. The world would be better off without him.
Dean disagrees.

Summary
Dean already knows that the future isn't looking good. Sam's sneaking out at night and lying about it. Dean's pretty sure the angels are dicks and that they're lying to him. It isn't until he gets a visit from his own ghost that he realizes just how bad it's going to get, and the future that was becomes part of Dean's memories of the past. Surely, with all that he knows, he can fix things—if he can stay alive and sane, that is. A season 4 AU that bumps into seasons 5 and 6. Written for the 2011 spn_gen_bigbang challenge. Broadly inspired by a_phoenixdragon's excellent 2010 spn_j2_bigbang piece, Perspectives, which left me feeling melancholy, and for some reason (because it never happens in her story) gave me the image of Dean in a hospital bed, quietly rejecting the comfort Sam tries to offer.

Summary
Set AU from S4.04 'Metamorphosis', this is a what-if based on Dean's discovery of Sam's secret mere minutes after coming back from the past: Told from the viewpoints of Dean, Sam and Bobby, this tale is about choices, none of them easy and how those same choices can carry into the future.

Summary

Summary
Castiel is alone after the events of The Song Remains the Same, left to make his own way back to the present from 1978. But the angel is playing wounded, and his power over time is not as precise as it once was. It is all he can do to cling to the one thread that will keep him from getting lost: Dean Winchester's timeline. He just ends up seeing more of it than he ever expected to, and it affects him in ways he never thought possible.
