    Lucy might not trust the Ghoul but right now if she wanted to make it to Vegas she was going to have to buck up and let him watch her back at least. She knows her place is with Max, who she already promised to live with in the Vault, but is that what she really wants or is it the safest route? Cooper's claimed he was gonna kill Lucy so many times as they traveled together that it's almost a term of endearment at this point, one that Lucy didn't realize she was going to like so much.

    Cooper should have known he'd lost himself the second she'd given him those chems, but his stubborn streak was as wide as the Sierra. Now he has to balance this burgeoning desire and keeping her alive while trying to save literally every god damn person in these wastes. He didn't realize how exhausting it would be to fall for a bleeding heart.

    This will start as a slow burn, while I plan on getting to the explicit(I promise) there's going to be a build up of doubt, trust building, and mutual pining. Obviously I don't know what will actually happen when they get to Vegas in the show, I plan on writing their journey there as they find each other along the way.
