"She yours?" Logan asked as Scott took the baby by the armpits and away from the older man.

She giggled happily before taking a firm grip on the collar of Scott's shirt and started gnawing on it, smearing her saliva all over him, "Yes."

    Or

Where X3 didn't happen and Scott's mutation isn't just releasing optic beams through his eyes.

“Uta-jima - Song Island - has only about fourteen hundred inhabitants and a coastline of something under three miles.”

The Sound of the Waves, Yukio Mishima

A provincial paradise that is timeless due to the natural beauty of its seas, its bountiful fishing, its rare but glittering pearls; in which the only trouble that arises, if it could even be called that, would be the incurable politics surrounding the romance of young lovers. But gossip is what indeed makes for happy marriages in small island towns.
And happy marriages are a must.
(or how obito proves himself worthy of kakashi’s hand in marriage. a love story of classic design).
