    Summary

Years ago, he’d have never let a situation like this happen. Submission is vulnerability—a weakness he thought himself unable to indulge in or afford. It’s just one of many aspects of himself that Kaveh had discovered in his stead, drawn out from the parts of his mind he hesitates to acknowledge. He is not an introspective man, because introspection threatens to tear at the simplicity of his life. He could think about Kaveh for eons, however.

In the privacy of their shared home, Haitham and Kaveh indulge in an afternoon bone, filled with loving reminiscence on Haitham's part.

    Summary

Kaveh had absolutely zero expectations of his peaceful day being upended by his irritable sometimes-friend, especially not in this context. But, well, he supposes there could be worse interruptions. And Alhaitham may be a waspish bastard, but no one can deny that he's an attractive one too.

Or, Alhaitham comes home with a mysterious ailment, and it is up to Kaveh to assist his ornery roommate. With his dick.

    Summary

Wriothesley has no intention of signing up to the letter exchange program. Why would anyone want to write to a criminal? No doubt they probably have some ulterior motive he's not interested in furthering. But somehow in the process of avoiding one of the guards, he finds himself filling out the paperwork.

Alhaitham is signed up to the letter exchange program by his grandmother. Inmate or not, she believes any practice at social interaction is better than no practice. Alhaitham figures they'll just exchange a few letters and then contact will dwindle until it stops completely, as penpals often do.

That the letters are the start to a deep friendship is a surprise to them both.
