Summary
Kris Aller was only helping the case because Voight called in a favor. He would look at the evidence, make a profile and then return home safely with his daughters.
A profile, that's all. He wouldn't be Detective Upton's new partner and he wouldn't be entering the police station ever again.

He didn't know if they were dreams or visions. He no longer knew what awaited him at night or what he would find in the morning. He didn't know whether to sleep, clean, or run through the forest after someone. He didn't know whether his claws were now useful or not - he knew nothing without his master.
Thornhill had found ways to communicate from prison: hidden phone calls, letters, all delivered to abandoned addresses around Jericho. Tyler had nowhere to run and Hyde had no reason to arise.
But the nightmares kept repeating themselves, and no messages had arrived in a week. Only deadly silence and cobwebs occupied the abandoned warehouse where he slept.
He realized that something had changed when the gates of the building swung open with a loud roar. Soon the sounds repeated and Galpin was surrounded by wolves. He closed his fists: he waited for his eyes, torso and claws to grow, but nothing happened. He did not transform.
The wolves advanced against him and the boy fled. He climbed on the nearest high furniture while the canines bit his feet. Fear overtook him and the bestiality of the wolves brought him no familiarity or pleasure.
He was not a beast like them.Tyler decided to return home.
