As Trobbio mopes around the stage in his new, purpler clothes, wondering what to do now that Hornet has so thoroughly rebuffed his call to die tragic style with him, he receives a letter. Summary
Deep within the ground, almost teetering on the edge of the Abyss, there lies the broken form of a vessel. How did this pitiful thing come to be here, to escape the place of its making but to fall down upon its doorstep? How did it come to fight against its kin, and embrace their mutual enemy in doing so?
I've always wondered these questions. This is my attempt to provide an answer.
