How could she say that to him. His own mother. It was no surprise she said it but it was in public, she showed who she really was in public that terrified him.
Miya Atsumu has family issues, Osamu wasn't there for him as much as he should've been and Sakusa loves Atsumu but doesn't know how to tell or say it. So comforting him when he cries is the best he can do right now.
