Stacey Evans is a bootleg super soldier, and she used to be an Avenger. She joined the Thunderbolts to do something good, to try to find some purpose again. She didn’t mean to find kinship with a disaster of a man grieving a life that’s falling apart.
John Walker came to work, not make friends. Especially not with the new recruit who seems to have a heart too open for their line of work.
Brought together on a team of super soldiers, spies, and half-reformed assassins, they’re both trying to figure out how to put the broken pieces of themselves back together.
Neither of them meant to get close. But somewhere between the late-night arguments, bruised knuckles, shared silences, and near-misses on the field… it happens anyway.
