JJ’s jaw drops at that. “No way! Full Kook, huh?”
Kiara nods, sipping her coffee morosely. “Isn’t it insane to let random people into our house? Just to look at – and judge – our Christmas decorations?”

“So, you gonna tell us what got you throwing hands, huh?” JJ spoke, voice quiet and Kie felt his breath huff over her cheeks, he was so close. “Did someone insult the turtles?”
“C’mon, Rocky, let’s get you properly cleaned up.”“Jay, I’m fine,” she told him tiredly and she ignored how Sarah scoffed. She pulled at her shirt the same way John B had done, jerked when the fabric stuck to the drying blood that stained her side.
JJ laughed humourlessly, flashed his teeth at her in a grin that showed no mercy. “Like hell you are, Kie, now move before I make you.”
Kie gets herself into a fight and JJ is there to patch her up, of course. In fact, JJ's the only one she'll let help her. A collection of JJ and Kiara patching each other up after their daily disasters.

a series of one shots that have popped into my brain when I think of JJ and Kie—especially after watching OBX3.

He used the hand that was in her hair to roughly yank her head back. Not hard enough to hurt her, but enough to shock her just a bit. Her screaming stopped and her thrashing ceased but her eyes were closed.
“Eyes, Kie,” JJ whispered. He moved one of her hands around his throat so she could feel his pulse beneath her hands. He slipped one of his rings on the thumb that was around his neck and said again, “Kiara, give me your eyes.”
or when JJ gets out of the water bleeding, Kie doesn't know what to do
