His beautiful boyfriend was standing at the stove, attentively watching whatever he was cooking. Eddie smiled as he noticed Buck humming quietly along to the music, an upbeat jazzy tune, dancing along slightly as he stirred one of the pots. He was totally off rhythm, and he looked goofy as hell, but Eddie couldn’t help but be endeared.
“Nice moves you got there,” teasing Buck and causing his face to flush scarlet.
“Well, I’d like to see you do any better,” Buck challenged.
Eddie smirked at him, “I’ll have you know, you’re looking at the two-time winner of the Texas High School Ballroom Dancing Championship right here. I could easily take you with my moves.”
Buck’s jaw dropped.

Eddie was finally exactly where he wanted to be. He was on cloud nine after confessing his feelings for Buck, and Buck returning his confession with enthusiasm. He loved his family, and as they sat there on the couch watching a movie, Chris cuddled up on one side of him and Buck on the other, he could finally look forward to the future rather than getting hung up on the past. With Chris and Buck by his side, he couldn’t wait to explore their relationship as a family, and move on together towards the rest of their lives.

He gets so fed up with his mother's nagging that he finally tells her, yes he is bringing his boyfriend home. The problem is, Race doesn't have a boyfriend, and when his mother asks who he's dating he blurts out the first name that comes to mind: Spot Conlon, aka his roommate, best friend, and crush. Fake dating antics ensue.
