Summary
“Wanna dance?” Eddie asks, leaning only slightly away to look at Buck. He’s smirking now, eyes traveling all over Buck’s face, taking in his expression and the color blooming on his cheeks.
There’s a look in Eddie’s eyes now, one that Buck hadn’t quite seen before this trip. Or had he? Did it just not mean to him then what he realizes, or thinks, it means now? Regardless, it confirms a thought that has been niggling at the back of his mind all night.
Flirting. Eddie was flirting with him.
or, Buck visits Eddie in Texas a few months after he leaves LA. They road trip to Austin with Adriana to stay with Sophia, who has planned a night out on the town that none of them will soon forget - especially Buck and Eddie.

Summary
It’s almost pitiful, really. Buck looks desperate, his jaw hanging open, and he’s sweating, flushed. He needs more. What kind of friend would Eddie be not to give it, not to give Buck what he needs? That’s how he rationalizes it. It’s something they do; Buck gives things to Eddie without him even knowing what he needs; help, a listening ear, just his company. Eddie tries to do the same. Sometimes he thinks they know each other better than they know themselves. What is this but a continuation of that dynamic?

Summary
Much to Buck’s continued mortification, it doesn’t end there. Eddie keeps finding every opportunity to praise him, whether on his appearance, or his cooking, or his actions on a call, and Buck’s body keeps responding like that of a horny teenager.
For the life of him, he can’t seem to figure out if Eddie’s always been this verbally appreciative, or if something has changed. It’s not like Eddie never says nice things to him, but this feels bigger somehow, more intentional. He watches the rest of the team surreptitiously whenever it happens at work, and nobody else seems to have any reaction whatsoever to Eddie saying things like, ‘you’re so good at that,’ when Buck does something as simple as successfully flipping a pancake in a frying pan.
or: eddie starts complimenting buck...a lot. surely he has no ulterior motive.

Summary
Eddie’s hands are huge.
Buck continued watching the hypnotizing movements of Eddie – turning, kneading, folding, kneading, stroking, twisting, squeezing, applying more pressure, kneading, again and again and again. His fingers were slightly pink after all the force he was applying. He began wondering how that pressure would feel on his skin, on his…
