Summary
Giant city on the surface of a frozen exoplanet is long abandoned by people. At night its streets patrolled by Disassembly Drones, who watch from the sky, in search of someone unlucky or desparate enough to be on the surface in this dead hour. But when the sun rises, doors of shelters are unlocking. Worker drones are coming outside, to scavenge the city for valuable resources. They are forming unions, betraying old allies, and starting conflicts, just to survive another day in this damned city.
But our story doesn't start here. It starts In an old, destroyed bunker outside the city, where the screen of a long-disabled drone suddenly turns on.
