   Summary

   When the hangar bay doors clanged shut with Han and Luke still missing out in Hoth’s deadly cold, Leia had a strange feeling that she was watching the doors close not only on her friends’ lives, but on her own too. Haunted by trauma and loss, she was tired of running.

   But out of the frozen darkness, they returned.

   And later during the battle, when she was ready to give up, Han came back for her. She’d gotten a glimpse, then, of possibilities, of a beautiful future, if only she was willing to dismantle her carefully-built walls. Could she risk losing everything again? Could she open herself to hope? To love?
