One minute she and Tristan are fighting Siva addicts, the next their thrown through a portal and end up in a universe that has no Light and where not every alien is an enemy. Now after two years, they've managed to pick up the pieces and carve out a living. It's not exciting, but it's something to do, that is, until a redheaded human looks them up and asks them if they want to help save the universe. When they agree, it's the guardians that have to hold back a grim smile, after all - it had been their job before.
