They’ve both changed, hard to say if for the worse or better. Old, so ancient...one desperately wanted death, the second peace and a calm to his tired soul. However, neither of those has ever been fulfilled.
A light smile crept to the general’s face. A faked expression, one he learned to use so often...to the point he sometimes forgot to paint on a different mask. Jing Yuan hid the unending grief under a facade, just to stop everyone from being concerned about him.
That, however had zero chance of suceeding under Blade’s surveillance. “You’re...less honest, you conceal yourself.”
