Summary
After a brutal, sleepless week of caring for a teething, feverish Nyx, Rhysand and Feyre finally get one night of rest—thanks to Nesta and Cassian stepping in to watch their son. Though leaving Nyx was painful and guilt-inducing, both parents were utterly exhausted, physically and emotionally.
That night, there’s no sex or grand romance—just a bath, a bed, and sleep. Feyre drifts off almost instantly, and Rhysand watches her, overwhelmed by the sense of peace that settles in her presence. The memory of Nyx’s dangerously high fever still haunts him, bringing his deepest traumas and fears to the surface.
