Roy had panted hard. They almost didn't make it in time.
The loud sounds of the audience had reached the ears of the nervous boys, the feeling of Alphonse gripping onto Roy's leg had directed his attention to the boy who was shuddering. There were so many people who came to see them, how could he not be so nervous?
"Hey, it's gonna be okay, Al. Promise. We've got this."
"Yeah, Al! Let's get out there and show them we're worthy of all the listens they can offer!"
Alphonse had hesitated before giving a small nod, a quiet 'kay' coming from the boy before inhaling, holding, and exhaling.
Roy had done the same. Edward was right, this was their night. It was now or never, and if they waited any longer, never will slap them all in the face, and they may never get this chance again.
So, with enough wait, he had pushed forward and grabbed the mic from the stand, and the crowd had gone silent.
