   Summary

   The Great Angel is dead. More than dead-- Extinguished. Destroyed. Gone.

   But Faith, Love and Blood have great power, and very little is truly impossible. When thousands of Sanguinius' sons sacrifice themselves to save their Father's world from a Tyrannid invasion, the consequences are not what anyone would anticipate.    Summary

   Now reunited with his sons, Sanguinius must return to Baal. However, this proves more problematic than anticipated, and Ciaphas Cain is increasingly wishing he were somewhere else, anywhere else, than on this particular frigate in the middle of the warp.

   Dante finds the box on the desk in his private sanctum an hour after the Victus has translated out of the Baal system. It is made from unadorned metal, about the size of an ammunition container, stamped with the circular saw-and-blood Chapter symbol of the Flesh Tearers.
