I lifted my head and felt the bed dip to my left, my heart stuttering as my vision was engulfed in pitch black darkness- causing me to let out an involuntary whine.
"Hush." He commanded, his voice slightly softer. "You will feel good this way."
He finished tying the tie around my head before giving it a slight tug, seemingly finding it good enough.
My thoughts spiralled into a brutal hurricane.
'He doesn't want to see me shirtless, he doesn't want to look at my face, he doesn't want me touching him, he doesn't want to kiss me, am I that disgusting?'
I was pulled from my thoughts at the feeling of hands gently gripping my hips, careful fingers tapping lightly at my waistband.
"Is okay that I remove these?" Rosanov asked, always the gentlemen for consent.
I was unsure if he was looking at me, so I muttered out a- "Yes."

Shane is embarrassed to admit that in this very moment, he is thinking of the same thing. As selfish as it may seem in this circumstance, he really did not want to die today. He can’t afford to get taken away when he was just getting started with his actual relationship with Ilya. He doesn’t want to imagine Ilya being with someone who is not him.

“Who is that?” Ilya asks, his body swaying closer to the door as if on instinct.
The knocking continues, and Shane does the only thing he can think to do right now with Ilya still holding onto him, a towel wrapped around his waist. It’s not his finest idea; it would probably rank similarly to I’m clearing my head.
Which Hayden didn’t give a fuck about, apparently.
He unhands himself from Ilya, sliding the closet door they’d just clattered into open. “Get in.”
“You are putting me back in the closet?” Ilya asks flatly, still standing there, still in a towel.
“You’re not out of the closet, that’s the point,” Shane grits out, gesturing him in impatiently.
