    Jim hasn't been able to smell a thing since he laid eyes on Spock, which is why it hurts so much when the Vulcan clearly doesn't reciprocate his feelings. Nobody could love a broken man anyway. Destiny must have made a mistake. Spock- who's been using nasal suppressants since joining Starfleet (and is deeply in love with his Captain) is in for a real shock when a transporter malfunction renders him human for a day.
