Shadow milk cookie runs out on magic, this results in the spire crumbling in on itself with the cookies still inside. Pure vanilla cookie successfully manages to shield the kids from the spire coming down on them Shadow Milk cookie is not so fonrtunet, with no magic to escape he ends up in a situation he won't die from but he wish he could.
