Isla, the Dark Urge, spirals after Gortash reveals all. She contemplates a promise made to Nettie back in the Grove. She swore to take the wyvern poison if she felt herself becoming a mindflayer, but perhaps her vow should have extended to becoming any kind of monster. Or to the monster she already was.
