Summary
Despite being it being part of his world long enough that he should be used to it, corporal punishment is still one of Cameron Mitchell's least favorite parts of being an Air Force officer. When he finally got to join SG-1, he wasn't expecting to have to lead the team, and he definitely wasn't expecting to end up in charge of disciplining one of his heroes, much less to have it go terribly wrong.

Summary
Daniel and Jack are starting to figure things out and settle into a routine, but then Daniel manages to break two of three rules in one go, leading to his first off-world spanking.

Silence. Jack can't talk because if he opens his mouth, he is going to yell, and he's promised himself that he's going to do better about not yelling at Daniel, after seeing the way it had affected him. It's Teal'c who finally breaks the silence.
"For what was this trap intended, DanielJackson?"
"The Pelski, I guess," Daniel mutters.
"Or us, Daniel, they told us their rivals would be eager to kidnap humans!" Jack snaps, "And we have no way of telling whether they know we are here or not - which is why I said we were leaving, you weren't going to the ruins, and we weren't coming back without reinforcements!" He's proud that he at least doesn't raise his voice.
"Well I didn't know there would be traps," Daniel responds petulantly, and if there was any question whether he was getting spanked, that seals his fate.Series

Summary
Jack is certain that, physically, he hadn't injured him beyond a well-earned sore butt.
He's also certain that, somehow, he'd fucked up royally. Because despite how reasonable that all sounds, the fact is, that before he'd strapped him, Daniel wasn't afraid of Jack. And now he is.
Daniel just can't stop touching things he's not supposed to on missions, so Jack deals with it the only way he can think of - corporal punishment is compulsory in the military after all, and civilians in the program have to sign up for the program as well. It works - kind of. Daniel's not touching anything, and his off-world behavior is exemplary. But contrary to appearances, Jack can't shake the feeling something's terribly wrong. Can he fix it before it's too late?
