Summary
Life can be seen under many different lights. Pleasure, power, wisdom, survival. People like her had seen all of those different walks of life come out to play right in front of her eyes; prostitutes, politicians, scientists, vigilantes. For the longest time, Vi had experienced her own life as an obstacle race for survival, but as life proves itself to be far more complicated than that, her views, ethics and morals get defied. As the world proves itself to be smaller than she thought, her whole purpose, her whole reason to keep on kicking is defied, as well. All that remains, all that's never defied nor modified is a question, one that she started asking herself as a kid, one that she wonders when she'll stop asking herself, one that she wonders what will happen when she finally manages to reply.
When will she see the obstacle race's finish line?
