    “Lucy—we shouldn’t—” He tries to protest, but she shakes her head.
    “Not—not like that. Just, stay the night. Just this once.” She steps closer to him, clasping their hands together, God is she tired, but she wants this, to hold him just for tonight, to lay against his chest just this once.
