One day everything was normal for the Jedi Order, and the next day nothing was. The Force had done what the Force always did: be unpredictable. Obi-Wan Kenobi, not the hot-headed Initiate from the Crèche but a Jedi Master of the High Council, had appeared from the future and was walking among them.
The man was a miracle in many ways, a great man, a Chosen One.
Whatever one might have expected of him, taking Bruck Chun as his Padawan was definitely not on the list. That did not prevent him from doing so, to everyone's confusion, even the one concerned. ESPECIALLY the one concerned.

Summary
The Princess, the Knight, and the Smuggler died, and that was it.
Qui-Gon Jinn wasn’t sure what he expected when he arrived in Mos Espa, but it certainly wasn’t a boy made of pure light, a scruffy-looking scoundrel, a not-Jedi with bright eyes deep as an ocean, and a small, sickly, sharp-tongued woman with longer-than-practical hair.
Leia, Luke, and Han were put on Tatooine to love and be loved by a person named Anakin and an enslaved woman with a heart worth its weight in rainfall. They were put on Tatooine to keep a promise and to change a past they’ll never have to live through.
It’s not fair; nothing is fair, nothing will ever be fair again. They don’t get “fair” because this story wasn’t theirs to begin with. If they do things right, it will never be.

This is a prequel (and in the later chapters a sequel) to Golden Once Again and I strongly recommend reading that one first. :)

In which Cody becomes an anonymous poet after the war and his brothers find out.
Rex launches forwards immediately and so does Bly, because he can admit to himself that he likes gifts. He likes gifts a whole lot more than Cody and Wolffe, anyway, who both act like martyrs who don’t need any material love. “Poetry, vod?” Bly asks, incredulous. “Cody’s right, you are going soft.”
“It’s by a clone,” Fox says, defensively, “it’s quite good, actually. For poetry. It made Sergeant Hound cry at the service.”
