Bakugou was perfectly fine after the kidnapping. It hadn’t been a big deal. He got his shit together and moved on, because he wasn’t the type of weakling who was bothered by stuff like that.
That’s what he wanted everyone to think, anyway. He wasn’t about to tell anyone that he still woke up in a blind panic every night, haunted by nightmares. He couldn’t admit that it was difficult to function because of all the sleep he couldn’t get. He suffered in silence, because Bakugou Katsuki didn’t need anyone’s help.
He’d resigned himself to the nightmares and the insomnia, until he found relief in the most unexpected of places.
