Isagi turns his tired gaze onto Bachira. "You don't lose very much, do you," Isagi says.
"Not really."
Isagi readjusts his grip on his bike, too spent to bother getting worked up again. "Then don't lecture me about it," he mutters.
Bachira is quiet, and he slows until Isagi has passed him, leaving him behind as he idles on the sidewalk. A few moments later he catches back up and matches Isagi's pace, wearing an uncharacteristically thoughtful expression. He smiles, sincere, bordering on playful. "I bet if I passed to you, you'd never miss," Bachira says.
