Summary
Ilya’s hand wraps around his bare wrist and squeezes. Shane barely stops himself from collapsing to his knees.
The pressure lights up every receptor of his touch-starved nervous system, wrenching a small, pained noise from the back of his throat. Every muted sensation comes flooding back so intensely that it almost hurts. He needs Ilya to hold him down until there’s nothing inside him but quiet. He wants to sink into him and disappear.
It takes Shane an entire beat to remember where they are. Fighting against the fog in his mind, he manages to drag his gaze up to meet Ilya’s.
There’s a slow-dawning horror and understanding on Ilya’s face.
Or: Shane is in subdrop after their encounter in Vegas. Ilya fixes it.

Summary
Some days, Jeongguk feels like he's moving in fast forward through a slow motion world. Like those dreams he sometimes has where he can't run, no matter how hard he tries, like he's moving through a cloud, but in reverse: everything except him is dragging and can't keep up. Some days feel like that, and he can't shake it.
So he's at his last resort, outside Yoongi's studio door.

“I know what you think I need,” he says, “I know what we used to do, but I can’t keep living like that. I can’t keep needing things. I have to be okay on my own now, don’t I? Isn’t that how this is meant to work? Because you’re leaving?”
“It’s not that,” Yoongi tells him, voice still calm. He sets his glass down on the side table and sits forward with his elbows resting on his knees. His eyes are intent, and curious, which is worse than if he looked mad. “It’s not like that, Jeongguk.”

Summary
Jeongguk slips his headphones off his head and lets them rest around his neck, taking a moment to breathe and look at the house. He feels the world shift under his feet, setting the stage for the change of scene. He forgets about numbers, and market shares.
He walks up the few steps to the front door, and knocks. When Taehyung opens the door, he beams ear to ear, and pulls Jeongguk inside by the lapels of his winter coat, shouting "Kook’s here!" to a round of cheers.
Each time, it feels like a dream.

Summary
“Bobby pin, please,” Rain says, holding out his hand for Phayu to press a kiss into his palm first, followed by the pin. Rain responds by kissing the top of Phayu’s head and then pinning the last braid into place, taking a picture of his handiwork to send to the group chat with Sky and Prapai.
“They’re probably almost here and will see it in person,” Phayu teases, but Rain just smiles and tosses his phone next to him on the sofa before leaning forward and throwing his arms around Phayu’s neck from behind.
“Yeah, but all special occasions should have photos to remember them by, and you only turn twenty six once.”
Phayu laughs at his sweet boy’s enthusiasm and tilts his face up for a kiss, which Rain gives him. “You know, you say that every single birthday, and just change the age. Think you’ll always do it, even when I’m a hundred?”
