Jiang Cheng did not give a lot of thought to his death anymore, far too busy worrying about sect problems and nephew problems and dead brothers coming back to life problems.
He was absolutely sure of one thing however— it would be his hatred that would kill him in the end.
And thus, the absolute fucking irony that here he was, choking to death on his love, was un-fucking-believable and typical, really, of the shit-show that had been his life.
Of course, not even death was going to be easy for him.

turns out Remlin’s spell that never protected Zanka from damage was truly intended to break his serious guy demeanor… by leashing his worst enemy to him.
In short: Jabber and Zanka are stuck together and neither of them are happy about it, the Cleaners are all unhappy about it, and Remlin has no idea what trouble they stirred up.
