Summary
Yanqing wasn’t a genius, but he also wasn’t an idiot. Yanqing has known for years that there is something strange about his past, it was hard to not notice. After all, why would an Arbiter General raise a random child without knowing anything about the child’s past? How could a Divination Commission not find out something simple like who a child’s parents are? Indeed, Yanqing wasn’t a genius, but he also wasn’t an idiot, he knew Jing Yuan was hiding something. He never questioned his mentor about it, he didn’t want to seem ungrateful, but, after recent events, Yanqing is no longer able to suppress his unease of his unknown past. Perhaps he and Feixiao have more in common than they originally thought.
