Her mouth gaped open as she could only ask, “You are from where?!”
“The Taisho era,” he repeated calmly. “Early twentieth century.”
“Of course you are,” she declared. “Naturally. That makes perfect sense. Why wouldn’t an ancient swordsman materialize in my bedroom at seven in the morning?”
