Summary
In all his years of driving for a living, he had thought he might have finally seen it all. Insaner things have happened, for sure, but age and experience navigating the congested roadways of New York had taught him how to deal with almost every type of passenger and traffic arrangement imaginable.
Even so, he had never expected his career to end like this. He still could not recall the finer details of everything, but he clearly remembered the outrage of his last boss, his former coworkers, and almost losing touch with what few friends he had. The worst of it was when his wife and kids had initially refused to speak to him.
The evidence was not in his favor, but something was better than nothing.
What he did know was that he was innocent. He thought he knew the kid named Percy Jackson-along with his friends-had gotten away with it.

Percy gets stuck in the elevator.
Nico just tried to use the elevator, but it's not working, and he's pretty sure he can hear someone cursing inside.
Meanwhile, it's a little hard to forget that the only legal entrance to Tartarus was an elevator.
Or: It's been really awkward between Percy and Nico for multiple reasons, so of course they end up helping each other out in a very strange situation. Long story short, Percy really, really wants to replace Tyche with Hestia, because in his opinion, that would make the world a much better place.

Summary
It's Spring Break and Leo is visiting Camp Jupiter with Festus. He introduces Camp Jupiter and New Rome University students to a video game he designed and spends the night challenging anyone who will play against him. After a while the only person he can goad into playing against him is Hazel, and he may have taken the Underworld insults a bit too far.
Hazel asks to tag someone in to play on her behalf. Leo agrees, not wanting to upset her any more, but is surprised when she runs off saying she needs to make an Iris Message.
He's even more surprised when Nico di Angelo shows up looking tired, with Hazel right next to him looking smug.
Did this girl from the 1930's seriously just call in her brother from the 1930's to play a video game? What were these Underworld kids playing at? And why is Annabeth, the smart daughter of Athena, betting on Nico winning?
