Suddenly, a hand covered Dazai’s eyes. His immediate instinct was to start thrashing and fighting but the creature wrapped another strong arm around his chest, effectively trapping him.
“What do we have here? Such a pretty kitsune doesn’t belong in such a decrepit shrine,” a deep voice rumbled in Dazai’s ear. Dazai smirked at the fact that based on how the hand over his eyes was positioned, this creature was significantly shorter than him. He sniffed the air and could finally figure out what the scent he had smelled before was. A demon. He could feel the demon’s hot breath on his neck. “What are you doing here? You won’t be reclaiming this place. It’s mine now.”

"Oi, the fuck are you doing in there?"
The voice that interrupts his afternoon break comes from a boy standing outside the fountain. Dazai's only able to make out the obnoxiously bright ginger hair on the other side of the water that separates them, but it's annoying enough as it is. Turning his head, Dazai decides to ignore him until he leaves.
"You know I can see you, right? You were just looking at me!"

"Am I not allowed to check in on my doggy?" Dazai asks as if affronted, with a hand to the chest.
"Shut up and get to the point. Do we have a mission or something?"
"No," Dazai says, and then sort of trails off and goes quiet, blank. It's not something he is very prone to. His hands are sweaty and he doesn't know why. His arm jumps a little at his side.
"Then what? If you're not gonna talk, I'm gonna -- "
"Does Chuuya know it's my birthday today?"

Chuuya closed his eyes but as soon as Dazai pulled away, he punched Dazai into his face.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" he yelled at Dazai.
"It wasn't on purpose" Dazai said with a straight face. Showing no emotions whatever.
"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?" Chuuya tried hard to pretend he didn't like any of that.
"That's just how the ability works if the opponent is too strong. So you either kiss or kill" Dazai spit out a convincing lie.
