Summary
Somehow, everything on that one Wednesday lined up perfectly to test Steve’s patience and dignity. His dad was hosting a work party downstairs, a crowd of people below him that he didn’t have the social battery to present himself to. And unfortunately enough, it was also a Wednesday, the day Steve had promised Eddie to be his ‘feeding’ day. Had it slipped Steve’s mind as to what day it was? Yes. Was Eddie Munson now dangling from his roof, trying desperately to get into his room and sink his teeth in Steve’s neck? Also yes.

Steve’s alway felt like his life was on a straight path, being paved by his friends, his teachers and especially his parents. He was the popular kid at school, he had friends and no one disliked him. His life was practically set up for his success which made his life easy. But that was the thing. Just because his life was easy didn’t mean it wasn’t dull. He’d only realize that when he found a spark of something new, someone new.
