She didn't realize at first how badly she yearned for a path to choose for her own. When Professor Rowan asks her to help him fulfill his Pokedex it seems like the perfect opportunity she has been secretly looking for. Being encouraged by her colleague Lucas only helped to light a fire in her chest, she didn't know was able to burn.
