Summary
Narrowly missing a blind date with the grim reaper a few years back has made feeling alive and keeping busy newly useful activities for Fred Weasley.
Especially when on the way to said blind date (specifically while suffocating underneath some very unpleasant rubble) Fred’s life flashed before his eyes like he assumes all nearly dead people’s do, only to find his wants and regrets honing in on a certain witch he had no right to want or regret.
Particularly when that witch then dated Fred’s younger brother for most of the next two years.
Fred has spent too much time waffling like a twat over what to do now that they’ve been broken up for a definitely-reasonable-amount-of-time. That whole nearly dying business did give him a sense of living life to its fullest and going after what he wants.
He wants this beautiful, brilliant witch.
