He didn’t get the chance to finish.
A figure dropped from the rooftops, moving so fast and so silently that no one noticed him until it was too late.
The teen was small—fifteen at most—dressed in 19th-century-style clothes, his dark hair tousled, his hazel eyes sharp. His saber struck fast and precise, slicing through the pirate’s back before he even realized what was happening.
