Summary
Eddie comes back from fighting in the war between human and Fae a changed person. Maybe he is running away when he uproots his and his son's lives and moves them to LA, but he prefers to think he's running toward something better. He finds that with the 118--and with Buck.
There is chemistry between Eddie and Buck from the first day they meet, but Eddie has so many reasons not to give in to it. As the years pass, though, Eddie's reasons fall away one by one. Finally, Eddie takes the leap, and Buck, of course, is there to catch him.
For a while, everything is perfect, but it cannot last. Because Buck has a secret; one that could tear Eddie's life--his world--apart.

Summary
This is a sequel to A Season In Hell: Wanted Dead or Alive. Heavy Spoilers for Season 3 and Season 4. This takes place during the summer between "No Rest for the Wicked" and "Lazarus Rising" as Sam tries to save Dean from Hell and spirals out of control as a result of his failure. He copes with his grief in various ways, like alcohol and sex, and comes around to the idea of getting revenge on Lilith. The story will cover the events described in the Season 4 episode, "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
Note: This story was previously published but I did a complete rewrite of the existing chapters and now plan to continue where I left off.
Also: This story reads just fine as a stand-alone.
