Summary
If you never possess it, you can never lose it. Can't you do a simple math problem like that?" With the most brutal form of rationality, he pushed her right back behind the boundary line of being "safe partners."
He believed this was the ultimate protection for them both. Until he found himself standing outside the security tape, watching her wear a wedding dress to marry a flawless black panther; until he kept vigil in that stark white hospital room, realizing he didn’t even have the legal standing to sign her surgical consent form...
Fate had branded him with a agonizingly painful "prophetic nightmare." As the morning sun illuminated Zootopia once more, the fox running barefoot through the streets wanted nothing more than to shred every single defense mechanism to pieces.

Summary
A heartbreaking Zootopia AU short story. After losing his memory in the line of duty, Nick Wilde moves on to a life of wealth and high society, accompanied by a "hallucination" only he can see. On his wedding day, the veil of amnesia finally tears, revealing a truth more devastating than the silence that preceded it. Warning: angst and tragic themes.

Summary
In the rainy streets of Zootopia, Vera, a quiet rabbit nurse, is saved by the charming fox officer, Nick Wilde. When she notices Nick looking at her with a lingering, gentle gaze, she falls in love, believing she is special to him.
However, Vera soon discovers a heartbreaking truth: Nick isn't looking at her, but at the reflection of his partner, Judy Hopps, who shares the same purple eyes and grey fur. This is a story about a "violet illusion," a broken heart, and the brave journey of a small rabbit finding her way out of someone else's shadow.

Summary
Nick and Judy are the shining stars of the Zootopia Police Department. From catching criminals to finding missing animals to uncovering conspiracies, the fox and bunny duo have done it all - except the one thing they both long for: be together romantically.
This can never happen, of course. Not only would it go against societal constructs, but against nature itself. So they pine away in secret, knowing they can never cross that line.
But when a new avian threat emerges from the shadows, threatening not just them, but every single animal in the city, they'll be forced to do things they never dreamed of. Soon, with nowhere they can run to and no one they can trust, it becomes apparent that this new enemy, always one step ahead, might be impossible to overcome. They'll have to dig deep to survive, but will they dig deep enough to unearth their true feelings for each other? Or will they bury them deeper, believing they're not meant to be.
Because in Zootopia, where anyone can be anything, a bunny and a fox can not be in love.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is absolutely my favorite sequel! The characterization of Judy is phenomenal and gives her the spotlight she deserves. I also love portrayed Nick's feelings for her—it's so beautifully written and perfectly in character. Fantastic work!
