A rewrite of the Hashira meeting scene in episode 23 that takes place in my AU!! I’ve just started getting demon slayer brainrot TODAY and I wrote this very quickly!! Anyway I have an entire au dedicated to just fixing Nezuko’s character because no matter how much I love her I HATE how she’s been written to essentially be a mindless puppy. I don’t care if I make people mad by saying that!! Demon slayer has issues just like every work does, and my AU is not better or flawless!! I just wanted to make it to write Nezuko in a way that I’d prefer!

Nightmare didn’t pay Killer to be nosy, but then again Nightmare didn’t pay Killer at all.
Besides, Killer never really knew when to quit. After a nasty fight with Cross, Killer gets lost in his frustrations and ends up in a part of Nightmare’s castle he’s never been to before.
The deeper he goes the colder it gets, and the darker it gets. The light he finds at the end of this tunnel seems more like someone's prison than a way out.

Summary
He trusted Ink. He trusts Ink. They had to have a reason. They wouldn't hurt him, he really let himself believe--
Ink saved him. They told him he was good, he was worth it, until he could even believe it himself on good days. They had good days together.Why? Why help him, hold him, promise him, he was good, he would be okay-- just to kill him now?
He still trusts Ink more than he trusts himself. He must have deserved this.

Error has a nightmare. Ink is there to hold him when he wakes up. How could he even dream of that, when the real Ink is so kind?
[Set in this series' multiverse, but can be read as a standalone. The most important context is that Error used to be the Destroyer, except that didn't actually happen in real life, but everyone remembers as if it did. Now he's sane and can feel guilt-- which means he feels a *lot* of guilt, since he remembers murdering thousands of people who never actually existed. Ink knows it wasn't real and they're close friends. And Error is a sad damp cat.]
