Maybe you've finally died in your sleep and were dreaming for eternity now. Maybe it's what happens in the afterlife, you get to indulge in whatever you enjoyed the most when you were alive. Maybe, despite how wrong you know you are, this game has now turned into a virtual reality augmented whatever they call it game.
But if this were a game and it followed the same mechanics with the one you knew so well, you could jump off the cliff and try to see if Teyvat Fried egg would really revive your life.
Very creative.
Or: you get yeeted to a game you've been obsessing over for months and the rational part of you just wants to find some portal back to your world... and then you meet the character you've been saving for for months.

In a city as free as Mondstadt, meetings and goodbyes are inevitable. For one would eventually blow all over the land like how winds blow all over the continent. Though winds do come back and blow once again, one may argue they are not the same as they were before. But that doesn't really matter, does it.
After all, crystalflies and butterflies would have lived their lifespan by the time the wind dies down, and the next time the wind blows it welcomes new of these creatures, all just the same.

Sheril tried hard to successfully manipulate an entire country to the Earl's needs. He really did. He didn't like humanity all that much, sure. But there were a few good things: living in luxury, being in power, getting to boss around random people for the hell of it.
But despite all of this, Sheril could say, without a doubt, that the reporter? The one who always came around asking things like "How do you feel about the theory that you orchestrated the attempt on your life?" (she was the one who wrote the theory) and "Did you know that I've seen horses more appealing than you?" (Did she have sex with horses or something?) That reporter who constantly tried to destroy his career? She was indefensible. Nothing fun about pretending to be human could make up for her.
He hoped she died in a fire.
She felt the same.
So of course, it must have been true love.
