Zhongli almost choked on the tea that he was in the middle of sipping, Was Childe serious? Does he legitimately not know what sex is? Sure Childe is young but he’s in his early twenties so despite his name he really can’t be considered an innocent child anymore, and even if he’s a virgin with no sexual experience, it’s still impossible that he doesn’t know what it is at his age.
“Do you seriously not know what sex is?”
Childe shook his head and looked directly at Zhongli, his face looking perplexed.
“Sex is… It’s when you…” Zhongli let out a huge sigh, he couldn’t believe this was happening, “Didn’t anyone ever give you the talk before, like how it all works? Reproduction? Procreation? How babies are created and born? Don’t they normally teach this in school?”
Childe is an omega who doesn't understand how omegaverse works (or where babies come from)

He steps closer, erasing the small distance between them, peering up into amber eyes, "Are you going to kiss me, laogong?" Gently tapping the forearm holding him.
"...Apologies, I am just too...speechless. It feels unbelievable. To have you as my wife." A soft sentimental giggle left his lips as his heart palpitates when the familiar scent of petrichor paired with tea came closer.
"I share the sentiment. But look where we are now." At the altar, with the Tsaritsa Herself officiating their wedding.
