Summary
elena felton makes just above £50,000 in any given year with minor, unremarkable fluctuations depending on the hilarious nothing-titles she’s given and shuffled between - and that’s enough to go for drinks on weekends, but it’s not enough to ask the what or the why or the how when eve polastri-park-something shows up at MI6 after years and so does the other one.
they can't be together. but they're certainly not apart, are they?

Summary
The seat directly in front of the grill is open and don’t mind if she does. She folds her hands on the dirty counter and stares intently at the back of the cook’s head. So she’s one day out of prison: just thin, precarious ice between her feet and spending the rest of her best years behind bars, and she’s decided she’s going to stomp.
She’s going to ruin everything.
She’s going to physically fight a fry cook at a ten-head diner in the worst part of the city over almost nothing whatsoever.
These are the decisions that make us as people.

"You know... all of our problems always seemed so small whenever we were here." Eve said, holding her mug of spiked hot cocoa tighter.
"Maybe it's the fucking mountains," Villanelle replied, turning to rest a hip on the railing of her balcony.
"Fucking Hotel Alyeska." Eve said with a small smile and a shake of her head.
"Fucking Hotel Alyeska." Her ex-wife agreed.

Summary
This is a story about a fight. But to get here, you have to go back to the beginning. Because it’s also a story about a talk, and a kiss, and a coffee shop that births an arrangement, which leads to a bed and roommates and a cat and a party and blood, occasionally, and really, really good sex.
All of these things can’t exist without the other. That is love.
And this—

Summary
“Do you two know each other?” Elena asks, passing Eve a fresh cup of coffee. “You and the new lawyer, I mean.”
For a second, Eve imagines telling her everything. Saying, remember that night Niko left last year, and I thought we were really done? Well, I went out, got drunk, met her, and we fuc--
Eve can’t even make her pretend-self confess it all to Elena, not under the stark fluorescent lighting of their office. She can’t come up with a good lie, either -- a whole two seconds after seeing Villanelle again, her brain is still busy numbly cataloguing her every too-fast breath and rushed heartbeat. “Uh, I’m pretty sure we ran into each other at a conference, once?”
“Oh.” Elena pauses. “I wish I had her jacket. Her outfit is amazing.”
Eve’s smile would probably be a little less fake if she could entirely convince herself that she’s also thinking about Villanelle’s clothes, and not what’s underneath them.
But she and Niko are trying, right? So she smiles harder.
*
A breakup. A hookup.
For a year, Eve does her best to forget it all.
Then chance brings a new hire to the office, and everything gets a lot more complicated.

Summary
Eve Park and Villanelle are well known assassins. Eve is subtle. Villanelle is not. But both are proud of their profession. Villanelle believes that she is the best until Eve comes into her life and accidentally takes Villanelle's assignment. She expected submission and an apology. What she got was a sweep of the legs and a not so subtle middle finger. As Eve gets away, Villanelle lays there and decides that she has found the one. Eve, not so much.

Summary
It is 8:00am. It feels wrong, slightly insane that Villanelle could still exist here in the daylight hours of a normal Friday, with a routine and a paper delivery and an 8:00am.
“I have a weak constitution, Eve” Villanelle sniffs, “someone stabbed me once. They came into my home and took one of my knives. I almost died.”
And so she stays.
