Summary
It's that time of year again: Preparations for the school's annual dance are underway. And there are four students who are tasked with organising it.
Natsuki can't bear to spend any more time at home with her abusive father. So, afterschool preparations are her excuse to get out of the house, and planning the dance is just the escape she needs.
Sayori already knows exactly what she'll tell anyone who asks: "I'm doing this to make everyone happy!" But in reality, it's a distraction from what her life has become: A dark tunnel with no escape. And maybe this will finally be the exit to it all.
Yuri, who has no friends in her life, decides to sign up in the hopes that it will be enough for her to build the lasting connections and friendships that she has wanted all her life.
And finally, Monika, who has been attending this school for a year now after moving house, but still can't seem to adjust and be as loved as she was at her old one. So this is the chance she needs to make a good impression.

As now, the world itself has begun to expand, creating something entirely new. Especially compared to the limited scope of the original game Monika was trapped in.
Follow Makoto, commonly known as MC, as he joins the literature club, derailing the base story into a new, real direction.
What will happen with the other club members, now that Monika is unable to untie the knots of their problems? How will relationships change? How will the new protagonist react to things already established? Will the issues found in the literature club get resolved? Or will things worsen?
