Summary
Slimes are herd animals, so that means Rimuru does have family out there, also born from Veldora's magicules. In this story, an older slime finds Rimuru as he is being born, and follows him through his journey. However, it does not have a human mind like Rimuru, leading to some changes on how the story will later progress. Rimuru is very "family" centric, but there will come a point he needs to find out, who is actually who's family.
This man also needs someone to eventually humble him.
